Physiotherapy Services in Swords

At Axios Physio, every treatment starts with a thorough assessment of your condition. We then combine hands-on therapy, INDIBA® technology and a personalised exercise plan to help your body recover fully and get you back to the life you want.

INDIBA® is an advanced radiofrequency technology that gently warms the tissues to support the body’s natural healing. We use it alongside hands-on treatment and exercise.

For pain and injuries

  • Muscle strains, tendon problems, sprains, bruising and long-standing muscle pain
  • After surgery: to help ease swelling and discomfort and support healing

Facial and body treatments (dermato-functional physiotherapy)

  • Facial treatment: a non-invasive treatment that can help improve the appearance of fine lines and expression lines, under-eye puffiness and skin firmness, for a fresher, more rested look
  • Body treatment: skin firmness, body contouring and scar care after a C-section, tummy tuck or pregnancy

Firm, hands-on massage to release tight, overloaded muscles, ease muscle spasm and reduce tenderness. It can be used on its own or combined with INDIBA®.

Gentle, controlled movements of the spine and joints to ease pain and stiffness and help you move more freely.

A very light, rhythmic massage that encourages the natural flow of lymph to reduce swelling, for example after surgery or an injury. Treatment starts on the healthy areas first, to make room for fluid to drain away from the swollen area.

Guided stretches to improve flexibility, ease tension and reduce pain, plus a simple routine you can keep up at home.

A personalised exercise programme to build strength and support your muscles and joints, so they cope better with daily life and sport, and the problem is less likely to come back.

Supportive taping to protect an injured area, ease discomfort and support movement between sessions.

Practical nutrition guidance, when it is relevant to your recovery, to support your body while it heals.

Gentle, individualised support for recovery after childbirth, including abdominal diastasis assessment and a safe return to exercise.
